For the smile of your dreams, our services include:
Porcelain Crowns: Crowns strengthen teeth that have been heavily filled, weakened or darkened because of root canal treatment. Our porcelain crowns will have those teeth looking good as new in only one appointment thanks to our CEREC technology. Veneers: These are thin porcelain shells that are bonded to your teeth to correct stains, gaps, chips and other imperfections. Veneers can revolutionize your smile and build your self confidence. Whitening: We use only Opalescence to give you the beautiful white smile you're looking for. We make your trays from impressions of your teeth so they will be comfortable to wear and allow you to get the proper amount of bleaching agent. Natural looking fillings: Instead of unsightly silver fillings made with mercury, the fillings you get at our practice are precision milled on our CEREC equipment from a block of biocompatible, durable, anti abrasion ceramic that is colour matched to your natural teeth. It not only looks good, the ceramic bonds to your tooth structure to restore its original strength. Unlike silver fillings that expand and contract actually weakening tooth structure and causing cracks and decay, you'll never have to worry about leaky fillings again. Root Canal Therapy: A root canal involves removing infected or damaged tissue from the canals and replacing it with a substitute filling material to eliminate the possibility of infection. New materials and technology let us complete a root canal in only one sitting. You will find that the treatment is often easier and more comfortable than getting a filling. Periodontics: The treatment of gum disease, the most prevalent disease in Canada today and the number one cause of tooth loss in adults. Risk factors include: poor dental hygiene, poorly contoured fillings or crowns, poor nutrition, smoking, chewing tobacco, high levels of stress, diabetes, down’s syndrome, AIDS, taking certain medications including steroids, oral contraceptives and blood pressure medications. The existence of bone destruction under the gums cannot be visually detected. This makes it especially important to visit your dentist regularly. Bridges: When you lose a tooth or teeth, it has an impact on your remaining teeth which tend to "drift" out of position. This leads to crooked teeth, a change in your bite, possible gum disease and tooth decay.
Fixed bridges are non removable restorations made up of one or more replacement teeth. They are anchored by one or more crowns on each side and are cemented to remaining teeth. Bridges can include up to four replacement teeth (with natural teeth on both sides of the gap to act as anchors) and look very natural.
